illuz for novel "Fatty"

it's a story about lost.
a lil boy grew up in Beijing back in the 80's.
his life was suffering all kind of lost. his family, his friends, his home, his love, his faith and his hope.
he tried hard to change things.
but he just couldn't change himself.

How much thought do you put into the placement of the paint 'drips'? I mean with traditional media that stuff just happens and you make a choice whether or not you clean it up or leave it. You decide to work messy

But here, you must be actively constructing that messiness. It adds LOADS to the work, I just wonder how much extra effort you have to put into making it look so traditional.
