Well you shouldn't point finger at wester outdated industrial technology (while yes technically it is responsible, phun intended. But what is the alternative, horsewagons?), instead, that your government is sacrificing your health instead of funding expensive low-pollution technology, the air is much cleaner over europe. Irresponsibility you cannot blame on others but those responsible.
Really wonderful picture! The idea, though I don't fully understand it (are we supposed to?), is really cool. This image is really intriguing, I like the contrast between the big, fat, red suit and all the the thin dull-ly coloured people. The gas masks are great, gas masks always have a powerful effect in a picture and you've used them really effectively.
DUDE. i don't know if this has come up already, but the first thing i thought of when i saw this was that kids book "hooway for wodney wat", when he's playing simon says and he says 'go rest', except he says 'go west'. that was a great story. *pats self on the back*
Hmm, This is awesome. I think it means something to do with a eastern country becoming more like western world, going through an industrial revolution and pollution and then coming to a more "1st world" setting?
There's probably a hidden meaning in this...but I must say that I don't understand it completely. At first glance I thought it might be a special gas that the leader was using to make all of the children follow him...but I don't see how it could work if they all have gas masks on.
This is just going waaaay over my head...and for that reason I find myself VERY intrigued by it.
Good work...although I think the speech bubble takes away from the overall look.
Still...something about this picture makes me want to it...I think I will.
West. Like into a more modern time or like.. hmmm idk maybe you weren't going deep or nething lol they are just following him blindly. don't even know what direction but they still follow. . . sheep. arg. love it though ^_~ awesome all in all
Wah! It's really cool. It remember me that short movie named "cannon fodder", which is included in Otomo Katsuhiro's "Memories".I loved it, excellent work, I would like to see some comic pages drawn in this style (I know there exist a shorter way to say the same, but my english is not good)
