painter IX, 2005

this is the first piece I made in 2005 when I picked up my wacom again. before that, I haven't drew anything seriously since my college years. So it took me for awhile to get use to everything.

Very nice job! The pose and shading are lifelike. If you hadn't said otherwise I would have guessed this was watercolor.

I'm curious about this character. Is she from something? If she's your creation, does she have a backstory? Is she a cyborg?
