[link]My friend Ugay(penname as Lanmao)'s novel has been plagiarized recently.
Somebody just post it in a well-known website without changing a word but the arthur's name.
Though it's one of my friend's old works in 1999, still lot of her fans recognized it immediately.
More dramatic is, the plagiarist then annouced that she IS "Lanmao"(the penname my friend used for that novel). But the plagiarist REFUSED to login as "lanmao" to prove that they're the same person. Her excuse was that she don't want to make some other ppl get involved by doing that(I can't see any logical connection though....).
Later that day, my friend Ugay logged in as "lanmao" and posted an announcement about that. We thought that should be the end. But it is NOT...
The plagiarist send a new post with tons of harsh words and even the f word. She said that my friend is a disgusting cheater for pretending to be "Lanmao"..... More over, she even made up a fake account to prove that she's Lanmao...
If you've read their stories, it could not be more easy to tell the difference.... My friend writes in a more talented and serious way, far more than a dull pop romantic story with some erotic scenes as hers.(I know this is mean, but it's true).
But the plagiarist's fans are really rude and unseasonable...(yes, yes, she has lot of fans...really funny)
They keep on abusing my friend even after the plagiarist delete that article from the website(she said that's b'cus that one's getting published soon, I really wanna know WHEN and WHERE).
Hopefully, My friend's new novels are going to be published this summer. She's such an sensitive person, hope that thing won't bring her down....
